Defender for Office 365 Plan 1 adds a stronger layer of protection to Microsoft 365, catching phishing, malicious links and unsafe attachments that basic filtering misses.

Key Features:

• Safe Attachments: checks attachments in email, SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams before they can do harm
• Safe Links: checks links when they are clicked, in email, Office apps and Teams
• Anti-phishing with user and domain impersonation protection
• Real-time detections
• Preset security policies and Configuration Analyzer to keep settings strong

Requirements: an add-on for Microsoft 365 plans with cloud mailboxes, such as Business Basic or Business Standard. Every user of a protected mailbox needs a licence. Already included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium.

Billing: Per user, billed annually — S$34.88 per user per year incl. GST (S$32 before GST), equivalent to S$2.91/month. Renews automatically each year.
